Let the kids play... This is just the place for families to enjoy a day out together.
We have absolutely loads of things for kids to do: indoor and outdoor
play areas for younger children, a sand-pit adventure playground,
ducks and chickens to feed. You can have a go at one of the traditional
Victorian games or try the quiz. The resident potter, Sue, can help
you to "throw your own pot" on her wheel. Every weekend
and during local school holidays, there are shows by Poppet Puppets,
followed by craft workshops. Many of our local visitors seem to
like letting the children play with the ride-on tractors while the
grown-ups enjoy coffee and Welsh cakes made in the tea-rooms!
There's something for all the family...
Every day there are guided tours of the corn mill and saw
mill, with demonstrations of wood-turning and how flour is made.
The blacksmith will also fire up the forge and show you how it was
used. We also have a collection of traditional Welsh coracles and
weather permitting, you can watch how they were used on the rivers
and estuaries of Wales.
